Happy Birthday (23 August 1912-2 February 1996) to Gene Kelly!!  He was born Eugene Curran “Gene” Kelly and is named the 15th “Greatest Male Star of All Time” by the AFI.  His many talents included being a dancer, producer, singer, choreographer, director, and an actor.  Some of his many films include Anchors Aweigh, The Three Musketeers, Inherit the Wind, Singin’ in the Rain, and (one of my favorites) Summer Stock.

Happy Birthday to the man who’s always danced in my heart!!

Happy Birthday, Ginger Rogers!!  She was born Virginia Katherine McMath (16 July 1911 - 25 April 1995) and best known as Fred Astaire’s dancing partner and love interest.  Ginger starred in 73 films, won the Academy Award for Best Actress in Kitty Foyle, and is ranked #14 in AFI’s 100 Years…..100 Stars.  She was life-long friends with Bette Davis and Lucille Ball.

Cowboy Troy performed for Donald Driver (& Peta Murgatroyd) during the finals of “Dancing with the Stars” and they did some sh*t kicking in those Packers colors!!
